RADAR: Meet Rising R&B Singer-Songwriter Fabian Second
With his latest release « Small », off his EP entitled « I See Things Others Can’t », UK Singer-songwriter Fabian Secon takes us on a melodic trip, incorporating R&B, Soul and alternative Pop sonorities. Indeed, the track in itself is a pure wonder filled with a lot of emotions, that the young performer effortlessly delivers through genuine lyrics and melodies. Also, note that the whole project « I See Things Others Can’t » was written and produced by Fabian himself. He actually explain the process, saying:
''Each song has its own personality and expression, ranging from uplifting emotions to depressing places and rebellion”, says Fabian. “The EP’s title and concept revolves around the idea that sometimes I’m in my own world and only I can feel and visualise certain things around me. I always like to be one step ahead creatively and sonically too. For this project, I wanted to push my own boundaries. I created a more progressive sound with tracks like ‘Small’, which is very melodic and pop-R&B driven, while keeping a more familiar dark and eerie sound on others, such as ‘One More Day’ [co-produced by Jacob Manson]. I wanted to show growth and capabilities of what else I can do but also pay homage to what has been successful for me previously.''
Since the release of previous tracks like « Haze », « Bandz No Sleep », Fabian is being noticed by industry influencers Pigeons & Planes, Complex, MTV, Wonderland, Highsnobiety, Hunger Magazine, Notion Magazine, EARMILK, DJBooth, GRM Daily and Link Up TV. His catchy sounds, and upbeat vibe made him a rising name in the urban music scene. And it’s just a matter of time for him to blow up internationally.
