Dutch Up and Coming Singer Philippine Drops Her Debut Single

 

By combining her country music influences with moderne pop, 20 year old Dutch singer Philippine offers her debut single "Gone". The song is a real demonstration of what we could call a modern neo-country as it integrates a discreet Folky sound signature while slightly breathing a commercial atmosphere.

Also, the vocal performance denotes influences from Maggie Rogers to Patty Loveless. Despite the fact that the instrumental's structure remains fairly common and repetitive, the particularity of the Philippine's vocal tone makes a solid difference. The soothing ambiance truly makes you surf on a mellow musical cloud.
