Dive Into A Movie With Egyptian Artist Pre Kai Ro's New Single: Leon

pre kai ro is an Egyptian artist who’s got style. We love the intro to the song and the suspense built by the simple guitar riff and pre’s falsetto. The beat is trappy-clean and simple. The auto-tune is used stylistically whilst the lyrics get us curious “can you love a murderer…?””

The song is clever: it is about Pre’s own interpretation of the perspective of the protagonist in the 1994 Luc Besson film Leon: The Professional. (Hence the song name “Leon”). We love Pre’s unconventional song-writing and melodic choices and are intrigued to hear more.
