LA-based Pop Artist Brynn Elliott Follows Up With A Piano Version Of “Tell Me I’m Pretty”

Following the success of her latest track "Tell Me I'm Pretty" with over 1 million streams on Spotify in less than a month, Atlanta-born, LA-based pop singer-songwriter Brynn Elliott follows up with a stripped down version of the masterpiece. We are thus entitled to a more mellowed version, presenting the delicious vocal tone of the young singer on infectious piano notes. Indeed, the emotion is largely more palpable and the artist is not afraid to let her vulnerability surface. About the song, Brynn says:

“This piano version of “Tell Me I’m Pretty” is one of my favorite stripped versions I’ve ever done… I think it captures the more emotionally raw nature where the song came from the day Michelle and I wrote it.”

Indeed, co-written with songwriter Michelle Buzz, the lyrical vision paints the sentiment of insecurity that women often face due to the pressure they put on themselves regarding their appearance. Thus, through her song, Brynn urges women to pay more attention to their personality than to their looks.

“I want to encourage women not to find true beauty in the way we look but find true beauty in who we are,” — She explains.

“I wrote it because we live in the age of social media and while I love how the internet connects us, I don’t love what it’s done to our self-image and worth.”
