Eleri Ward’s New Single About Self Love “Do Yourself A Favor”
This empowering new track is all about feminine self love, as it reminds listeners to love themselves no matter what. The addictive melodies and catchy chorus brings all the feel-good vibes through the speakers to uplift our souls. Next time you are feeling down, or having a difficult day, this is the song you will want to put on repeat. We all deserve love, and we most especially must learn to give love to ourselves first. Eleri Ward, American artist making music in New York City, has crafted the art of song-writing by creatively mixing R&B and pop genres to construct the perfect tune. Eleri shares her inspiration behind the song below:
“Self-love should be a dance party. I had a meltdown one day; filled with self-doubt and insecurity. So I decided to “do myself a favor” by looking at a photo of myself when I felt powerful, to remind myself of who I really am. ‘Some days are those days’, but my grandmother taught me to look in the mirror and speak encouraging things to myself because ‘the more that you say it, the more you’ll believe it’. If we so easily believe the negatives, why can’t we replace those with the positives?”
