Camenzind’s analogue varnish gifts the track a lived-in warmth—dust motes of Royal Albert Hall still cling to the cymbals—yet that very glow sometimes softens the lyrical blade. Hollister’s metaphors, while heartfelt, occasionally drift toward homily; one wishes for a crimson streak of dissonance to counter the sepia.
