Juice WRLD releases two tracks as tribute to XXXTENTACION and Lil Peep
The Chicago rapper has unveiled the songs "legends" and "rich and blind". Regarded as one of the most exciting rappers of his generation, Juice WRLD was keen to give a musical tribute to two young artists who lost their lives in recent months. Humanly and artistically, Juice WRLD has never hidden his attachment to XXXTENTACION and Lil Peep, just like the screenshot of a conversation with the Miami rapper that he used as artwork of the piece.
The two pieces evoke the sudden death of these artists and the immense sadness that this drama provokes: "This time it was so unexpected / Last time it was the drugs he was lacing / All legends fall in the making." / "This time it was so unexpected / The last time it was the drugs he was taking (Lil Peep Ed.) / All the legends fall in becoming him. "So there are two emotionally charged titles that we find here, well helped by the catchy voice of chicagoan.
